Nerissa Golden is the Creative Director and Owner of goldenmedia Montserrat and all of its Truly Caribbean franchises.

Since 2000 she has been part of the internet community with Truly Caribbean providing motivation, business ideas and just a new way of looking at the Caribbean.

In 2007 she re-launched her website with a brand new look, offering more channels and bringing together the expertise of some of the Caribbean's finest no matter where on the planet they call home.

In 2006, Nerissa founded the Victory Christian Academy on St. Maarten to provide her children and other families an alternative environment for stimulating learning and positive growth. She also launched YES and the Soualiga Film Festival in that same year through her Truly Caribbean Network Foundation. "I see so much opportunity around me and I do my best to pursue as many of them as time and resources will allow."

'Turning Passions into Enterprise' is the YES motto and you will hear about passion in the sessions taught by Caribbeanpreneurs. "Following your passion guarantees your joy, your peace and certainly the motivation to overcome the challenges that come with entrepreneurship," says the YES founder. Golden brings this passion to the forefront in every session she facilitates.

In 2008 she released The Making of a Caribbeanpreneur: Strategies for Overcoming Fear and Building Wealth as well as Truly Caribbean Woman's Guide to Good Love. The author and speaker was also invited to be the Life Coach on the new Warren Cassell Show now seen around the Caribbean and in the UK. Golden was the keynote speaker at the Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs Forum sponsored by the Cayman Islands Investment Bureau and the Women's Resource Center on Grand Cayman in March 2007.

Nerissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Tampa and has more than 15 years experience as a journalist and community activist throughout the North Eastern Caribbean.

Her commentary and releases have been featured on BBC Caribbean, Caribbean Net News, The Daily Herald, The St. Martin Today, The Montserrat Reporter, Antigua Sun, St. Kitts Observer. She is a features writer for Caribelle Magazine and her work has also appeared in Essence Magazine.

When not taking care of family, she can be found blogging at http://trulycaribbeanwoman.wordpress.com or more than likely Googling her next entrepreneurial venture.
